Club History

The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club opened for play in 1997 and almost immediately distinguished itself as one of the area's top tandem of courses, with meticulous maintenance and enough juice in the layouts to challenge some of the games most legendary professionals. From 1998 through 2002, The Reserve hosted Peter Jacobsen's Fred Meyer Challenge, the country's largest non-PGA Tour event. A veritable "who's who" - including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Fred Couples, Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia - participated in the Pacific Northwest's marquee golf event.

In 2003, The Reserve became the first Oregon golf club selected to host a PGA Tour event since 1960. The first PGA Champions Tour JELD-WEN Tradition "produced a win by one of golf's all-time greats, an emotional story line, a strong leader boar and a dramatic ending," The Oregonian reported. Besides tournament winner Tom Watson, the field boasted golf greats Jack Nicklaus, Fuzzy Zoeller, Hale Irwin, Tom Kite, Jim Thorpe, and Craig Stadler.

The Reserve has been the recipient of numerous local, regional, and national awards, and has hosted a variety of major tournaments. Following is a list of the club's most notable awards, accolades, and events:
